Application fields involved in CNC machining

2021-07-15

CNC machining can process complex contours that are difficult to machine with traditional methods, and can even process some unobservable processed parts. CNC machining can be used in all major industries, especially the core industries that some countries attach great importance to. CNC machining center mainly processes box-shaped workpieces, complex curved workpieces, special-shaped workpieces, disc-shaped workpieces, sleeve-shaped workpieces, flat-shaped workpieces and other complex-shaped workpieces.

CNC machining can complete processing of discs, sleeves and plate-shaped workpieces. There are many such workpieces, including disk-shaped sleeves or shaft-shaped workpieces with keyways and radial holes, planar porous systems, curved surfaces, such as bushings with flanges, shaft-shaped parts with keyways or square heads, and porous Processed plate-shaped parts, such as various motor covers. CNC machining can be used to process box-type workpieces. Processing box-type workpieces usually requires high-precision hole systems and planes for processing. When processing box-shaped workpieces on the machining center, 60% to 95% of the processing technology can be completed at one time.

CNC machining can process complex curved workpieces. Generally, a machining center with more than four axis linkages is used to process complex curved workpieces. For example, a five-axis machining center can process a variety of complex curved workpieces, and a three-axis machining center can also be used for simple curved workpieces. However, the ball end mill must be used to complete machining in three coordinates. The processing efficiency is very high, but the efficiency is relatively low. If a three-axis machining center is used to process complex curved workpieces, the machine cannot process it, because the three-axis machining center can only process simple curved workpieces, while complex curved workpieces cannot be processed. Complex curved parts such as impellers, blades, and marine propellers require five-axis simultaneous processing Center to complete the processing.
